History of Batumi World Palace Building
Batumi World Palace was first constructed by Bejanidze family in 1790s in order to be used as summer manor. The building was possessed and resided by the family until 1876. The building was purchased by Phipia family at the beginning of 19th century and the building was used for residential purpose.
The government confiscated the building in 1930 and the building was assigned to Batumi Sea Port Administration. The building was acquired by our Group in 2010 and restored in accordance with original form; original structure of exterior elements was spared and for interior spaces, Avant-garde style was adopted; thus, the building turned into one of most luxurious and outstanding hotels in Batumi.
Our hotel started to host our visitors as of July 2012.
